ABOUT
Mike Lyda received a BE (2008) & an MS (2010) in Civil Engineering from Youngstown State University. Mike has gained professional licensure in 2014 and is currently licensed in fifteen states. Mike has spent most of his career providing structural engineering services in the industrial sector.
Mikes Industrial experience covers everything from electric overhead traveling crane design (both structural and mechanical), its supporting structure and its foundation supports. Mike has performed countless new designs, capacity upgrades and inspections of structures. Mike has designed transfer cars, conveyor trusses, transfer girders, below the hook devices to name a few.
More recently Mike has gained experience in designing step formed concrete structures, commercial buildings and various smaller architectural projects. Mike has experience in several different areas of structural design which gives him a well rounded background suitable for many types of projects and clients.
